Durians….

They are just so addictive.

Because of my naivete and ignorance, I was ‘forced’ to buy 4 ‘em spiky ones. I wanted to get only 2, but the vendor opened four and before I knew it, had to hand over dough for it.

Ok, I consider it a very expensive dinner. I’m so full and there’s one more to go. Maybe I’ll let Adwin have it.

But there were good, although not spetacularly so.

I’m gonna bathe now, smelling of durians all over.

Yummy!

Tried a modified meat dish I learnt from the TV.

Just chop up some garlic, onions, ginger and chillis. Saute until fragrant and add some mushrooms and seasoned pork belly. Cook for a while until the meat has browned slightly and add a cup of water. Put a spoonful of Lee Kum Kee Pork Rib sauce and add some chinese cabbage. Simmer for abt 10-15 minutes.

Syok man, it tastes like something.

If there’s one thing I want to do after exams….

is to go back home and eat JAGOYA!!

Been hearing so much about this huge, japanese buffet restaurant, about how fresh the food is, how much variety there is and how…(add in your favourite superlative)

Wah!

Btw…is there a JAGOYA outlet here in Singapore? Should have rite?

Pepper Lunch(Dinner actually!)

Filed under: Daily thoughts, food - uliang @ 7:46 pm

I decided to treat myself and try Pepper Lunch at Orchard.

It was interesting. I ordered a simple beef meal. I liked it. Next time, going to try other dishes. Next time, I’m bringing along…

But oooh, how I wish I had the time (and money!) to go makansutraing.

Go and try out Pepper Lunch (jialat, doing free advertising for them). Maybe treat yourself as a post-exam-relieve stress-session with your friends. Everybody order different sets to try…den onli syok mah.
